Running Line Tensiometer

The Condux Running Line Tensiometer, used with Condux CableGlider Cable Pullers (or other rope capstan pullers) will give accurate measurements of the force exerted on a cable as it is installed. It consists of two components: Mechanical Sensing Unit (which mounts directly to the cable puller) and Electronic Control Box. STD Running Line Tensiometer

The unit will accommodate pull tape and rope up to and including 7/8" diameter with an accuracy of ±5% of full scale. Load handling capabilities and other specifications are determined by the model used.

Mechanical Sensing Unit
Mounts easily to the cable puller frame with a mounting bracket and pin. The Condux Running Line Tensiometer’s Mechanical Sensing Unit permits rope installation without disassembly of the unit.

Electronic Control Box

Features large LED display and analog display of pulling tension. A programmable overload set point has both an audible and visual indication of an overload condition. The Electronic Control Box also has the capability to disengage the cable puller if an overload occurs. A chart recorder (optional) offers a permanent record of the pull.
