Running Line Tensiometer
- The digital
display is not functioning.
Turn the Electronic Control Box power switch ON, and check all electrical
connections.
- The digital
display does not display expected values.
If the LED light next to "N" is lit, the display is displaying the force
in Newtons. Switch the display to pounds by turning the control box
off, then press and hold the LIMIT RESET button while turning the power
on. Hold the button down until the LED light next to the "lbs" on the
dislay lights. Also, the rope size could be different from the size
selected on the Electronic Control Box.
- The numbers
on the digital display start counting up and do not stop with no load
on the rope.
The load cell is not properly connected to the electronic control box.
Make sure all connections are made and are tight.
- The cable glider
doesn't stop when the programmed tension limit is reached.
1. The TENSION LIMIT CONTROL is OFF. Press the TENSION LIMIT CONTROL
button ON (LED light is lit).
OR
2. The tension limit is not set to the desired load. Press and hold
the SET TENSION LIMIT UP or DOWN buttons to set the desired value.
OR
3. Puller is not plugged into the elctroninc control box.
- The cable puller
stops before line tension reaches the preset load limit programmed into
the Electroninc Contol Box.

- Chart paper
does not advance.
Check the chart recorder cassette installation. Check the paper's alignment.
- Chart recorder
is not functioning.
Remove the chart recorder from the Electronic Control Box (4 screws
on face plate) and check pigtail connector for proper connection.
